Training the next generation EO scientists

Next generation Earth Observation (EO) scientist were trained, among others, in urban energy budget and heat fluxes in the framework of the EO Summer School EOSS2016 (https://earth.esa.int/web/eo-summer-school/home) that was weld at ESA/ESRIN in August 2016. URBANFLUXES was extensively discussed and trainees were very much interested in project’s ideas on how Copernicus Sentinels observation can be exploited in Urban Energy Budget and Anthropogenic Heat Flux monitoring.
